Byte 5 Bit 0 and 1 is used for nunchuk (0 0) = nunchuk or motion plus (1 0) is motion plus detection. Please note also the loss of the bit0 resolution. Here is the bitmapping which is changed from the standard nunchuk mapping first time i saw arduino nunchuk interface Code for reading data from a Wii Motion plus device connected to a Nunchuck That way, your nunchuck and remote will both work without too much hassle. Here is the code that includes the complimentary filter: //. If you're using a real remote and nunchuck, do you have a sensor bar set up in front of your screen? The cursor will not track otherwise, unless you want to bother emulating it with motionplus, which you shouldn't have to bother with. I did not note which version I was on but after I updated to the most recent update (5.0-12540) this was fixed, and I could bind X+ and Y+ and it works. I wanted to use my mouse as a pointer to navigate the menus, but I wanted to use my Bluetooth connected Wii remote to play Mario Galaxy 1 so I was using Emulated Wii Remote instead of Real Wii Remote. So I manually configured the input buttons on the Emulated Wii Remote configuration, and it seemed to work until the nunchuck settings wouldn't work. If I used Real Wii Remote, the buttons would work and the cursor wouldn't. When I use Emulated Wii Remote, the cursor would work but the buttons wouldn't. Real Wii Remote : All buttons and nunchuck work, but cursor is on the middle of the screen and doesn't work. Oh and my bluetooth adapter doesn't seem to work with passthrough, so I think I'm stuck with this.Įmulated Wii Remote : buttons and cursor working now, but nunchuck isn't working and dolphin only detects only motion X- and Y-, and no X+ Y+ as an input Knowing that this isn't a product problem, is there anything I'm doing wrong? Up and down would make only Y- go up, not Y+ and Y. Right and left would make only X- go up, not X- and X+. When I try to input the settings for nunchuck, I used the detect function, and Dolphin only recognized motion X- and Y. I first thought it was a nunchuck product problem, but the nunchuck works perfectly fine when I use it as a Real Wii Remote. Hi guys first i had a strange problem with the cursor at first.
